Box Loans

The History of Education Centre has a box of Victorian-themed education objects and photographs available for loan.
Cost: £30 for one month.
We will deliver and pick up the box to your school.

The box contains:

• Costumes: 8 pinafores, 8 shirts and waistcoats (as worn by Victorian children)
• 8 slates, a small bag of chalk and erasers
• A tawse (teacher’s belt)
• A set of finger stocks
• A split-nib pen and inkwell (no ink)
• Copy sheets of cursive writing
• Photographs
• Some children’s small wooden toys
• Information leaflets about various items
• Victorian information books
